Meditation on the oldest Christmas hymn ever written. ‘Hymn’ refers to the text, and ‘written’ literally means ‘written down’.

Composed from a scrap of sheet music under the organ bench at Ayshford Chapel, Devon. I completed the score and merged it with ‘Veni Emmanuel’.

Background music to my ‘walking’ scenes. You’ll hear it in almost every video, recorded on a portable harmonium.
Written for a broken organ at St Mary’s Church, Long Crichel. The church is cared for by the Friends of Friendless Churches.
